Meet Julia Wippler

Julia Wippler is a Licensed Independent Clinical Social Worker, dually licensed by PELSB and The Board of Social Work. She's the founder of Rooted for Growth, a specialized contracting agency that helps organizations build, train, and scale their mental health services through custom infrastructure development, trauma-informed professional training, and innovative program design.

Julia brings 15 years of firsthand experience as a social worker in the Anoka-Hennepin District — Minnesota's largest school district — where she also served as Assistant Director of Student Services and Mental Health Coordinator. Over the years, she's overseen mental health procedure and policy for the district, shaped school social work practices, built school-based mental health therapy partnerships, and led the district's MTSS efforts. She also launched the mental health billing process for IEPs within her district, and continues to support its implementation and fidelity today.

After years in direct practice, Julia's ability to see the big picture — and plan the scope and sequence for supporting larger systems — took the lead. It's the same thinking she brings to every district and organization she works with today.
